A bit about us...
Mandy & Michael Tooze would like to extend a warm family welcome to Elberry Farm, situated on the South West Coastal Path in the idyllic Broadsands area of Torbay, Devon. The working beef and arable farm has been operating in the Tooze family for over 50 years and looks set to continue for many more.
The Victorian farmhouse, which was built the old fashioned way:
Big rooms, Big windows and a splendid staircase offers a warm homely welcome with comfortable, modern, tastefully decorated bedrooms that nestle sympathetically amongst the traditional farmhouse decor.
We’re positive that you’ll feel right at home and relaxed whilst overlooking the beautifully peaceful walled garden & grounds of the farm.
Children & Adults can get a flavor of the working farm if they wish, as well as play safely & *socialise* in the large, secluded garden that backs onto the building. (*With a few glasses of wine, for the adults of course!)
Feel inspired to cook up a traditional westcountry breakfast
and enjoy your evening meal or takeaway in the large dining room or outside in
the peaceful garden.
The farm is only a stones throw (5 minute walk) from Broadsands Beach and Elberry Cove, lies next to the steam railway which allows guests to see the steam train chug over the historical Brunel viaduct in all it’s glory on the daily journey from Paignton to Kingswear, and an enjoyable 45min-1hr walk along the coast path will see you in the famous fishing town of Brixham in one direction or the seaside town of Paignton in the other. It is easy to see why Elberry is popular with walkers and cyclists and just about everyone else who loves to meander around the beaches, headlands and woodlands and take in the glorious scenery, peace and tranquility the area has to offer.
We hope to see you soon so you too can experience our piece of heaven for yourselves.
