I came here as a child and came back with my children. We absolutely love the farm, the food and the Tooze family. You’ve got it all. We’ll always recommend you. There’s not other B&B in Devon for us.

We arrived mid-July with our three girls at this well-run, organised and charming farm after a long drive from London, planning to stay for two nights. The first comment from our oldest daughter was: “Can we stay more than two days? We love it here!" And so we got to know Mandy, and her friendly and elegant way of making everybody special and welcome. We felt so relaxed here at once, and just moved in - to what we felt was a home from home. Mandy organised for us to stay as long as her bookings allowed, and the rooms were so nice. It was clear that the hostess has an eye for detail and quality, but still makes all arrangements practical and easy for a family like hours. We loved the garden, the short walk to the nice cobblestone beach and Mandy's home-made scones with clotted cream and jam. We got to knot Michael and felt as we had known this couple for years. The surrounding area is lovely for walks, and has fantastic scenery and history not at least connected to Agatha Christie and her farm Greenway. The steam locomotive passes through the area and gives delightful reminders of past times. We warmly recommend this place!

5 STAR!!! - An excellent choice! A warm welcome and a friendly family atmosphere made our stay most enjoyable. Clean and fresh accommodation in a scenic location with lovely breakfasts too. Would recommend to all.

A true taste of English hospitality.... - As Americans, we truly appreciated the warmth and charm of this beautiful working English farm. Mandy and her family were wonderful, the en-suite room was lovely, breakfasts were a real treat, and the garden was very relaxing. The horses, incredibly well trained spaniels, and overall ambience, made our week there most enjoyable.

My girlfriend and I spent just under a week in this fabulous B&B which left us wishing we had booked for longer. I had heard many good things as my girlfriend has been coming here for the last 24 years. Arriving at the farm early evening on a Tuesday we received a warm welcome before having a chance to relax in their large garden. We are both massive animal lovers, and with the dogs often sat on the wall and horses often going to and from their stables, this was just another bonus for us. The room was very clean and the bed very comfy. The farm is in quiet location resulting in a peaceful nights sleep, yet is still in walking distance of 2 beaches and other local tourist attractions. We had room 1 that gives views of the garden and the horse fields behind. Mandy was a wonderful host and nothing was too much hassle, plus the breakfast was always amazing with so much choice. We will definitely be coming back...hopefully for at least another 24 years. We highly recommend this B&B for couples and families alike.

I stayed at Elberry Farm last night for just one night, I was not planning to stay in Paignton, but darkness was closing in so I made a very last minute chance booking from a local advert.

I must say, I was very pleased with my stay and I'm looking forward to going back again for a long weekend some time.

Since I was staying on my own, I sat with Mandy and Michael for the evening in their living room and felt very welcome, a very friendly pleasant family.

I booked a twin room without en suite as I was choosing to keep the cost down, but the shared bathroom was right outside my room, was very clean, well decorated and had a nice warm powerful shower.

A very comfortable bed, and an almost secluded location meant for a good night sleep - no rumbly traffic noises, the most you'll hear is the occasional grunt from the horses in the yard.

Since I arrived in darkness, it was lovely to see the immaculately kept farmhouse gardens in the morning, and Mandy was kind enough to make breakfast early for me as I had a long day ahead. My English breakfast was faultless and generous offerings of fruit, cereal, yoghurt etc were also laid out.

Since staying, I have seen on Google maps, the secluded beach behind the B&B, and I'm very much looking forward to exploring the area more when I return!
